  • Contemporary Opera at Tête à Tête Posted on 01 August 2014

This summer Judy is thrilled to be working with Opera Kitsune on Spirit Harbour, a chamber opera by fellow Scot Lliam Paterson, as part of the Tête à Tête Opera Festival. Scored for four voices, cello, clarinet and piano, and directed by Bryony J. Thompson, Spirit Harbour is a contemporary opera-meets-Japanese Noh theatre piece. A refugee from the 2011 tsunami tells the story of the Noh play The Killing Stone or Sessho-seki 殺生石  http://www.tete-a-tete.org.uk/spirit-harbour/
